Classes and Machine Rentals
Please note, all renters must complete a certification class before renting the machine.
Certification Class $75
In this 2 hour class you will learn – the basics of thread and batting choices – how to thread the machine and load a bobbin – how to load a quilt – the basics of edge to edge quilting using a pantograph – beginner free motion quilting. A one piece practice quilt top, batting and backing will be provided to learn on. You may also bring a quilt top and backing to do your first quilt. Two additional hours for quilting your own quilt are included in the fee.
Personalized Classes $25 per hour
Free motion quilting and quilting with rulers classes are also available and will be personalized for your skill level. There may be additional charges for fabric if needed.
Rental of APQS Lucey machine $15 per hour
Rental times are flexible including evenings and weekends. Multi day rentals may be available if the machine is not booked and then you only pay for the hours that it is used.
